The reason this question gets asked so often is that Yupoo breaks every expectation of a normal store. There's no cart, no "buy now," no English, no shipping calculator — just photo albums. That's because Yupoo isn't a shop; it's a photo-hosting platform that Chinese factories use as a catalog. The actual buying happens through a shopping agent. Once you understand that one fact, the whole process is simple and repeatable. Here it is end to end.
Step 1 — Find the item in a Yupoo album
Start from a category in our catalog — sneakers, clothing, bags, watches or jerseys — and open the factory album. Browse to the exact model, colorway and, where relevant, batch tier you want. Note the size you need. Some albums are password-protected; if you hit one, see our Yupoo password guide.
Step 2 — Copy the item link
Once you've found the item, copy the link to that specific album or photo. You don't need to do anything on Yupoo itself beyond this — no account, no login, no payment. The link is all the agent needs to find and price the item.
Step 3 — Send it to the agent on WhatsApp
Paste the link into a WhatsApp message to us, along with your size and any preference (batch tier, colorway). We confirm the item is in stock, check the factory's real price, and quote you that price plus the agent fee and estimated shipping — the product itself carries no markup, with the service fee shown separately rather than baked into the item. This is the moment to ask questions: which batch suits this model, whether to remove packaging, how to consolidate with other items. Start a message here.
Step 4 — Pay the item cost
You pay the product price plus the agent's fees upfront (the product itself has no markup, but a service fee of around 5% and payment processing apply). USFans accepts PayPal, card, bank transfer and cryptocurrency — PayPal gives the best buyer protection since funds sit in escrow until you approve QC, card adds about 2.9%, and crypto is fee-free. You see the full cost before paying. When you order through us on WhatsApp, we confirm the complete all-in figure first.
USFans payment methods at a glance
| Method | Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | ~2.9% processing | Best buyer protection — funds held in escrow until you approve QC. |
| Credit / debit card | ~2.9% processing | Visa and Mastercard accepted. |
| Cryptocurrency | Fee-free | USDT, BTC, ETH — the cheapest way to pay. |
| Bank transfer | Varies | Supported; confirm details before sending. |
On top of the payment processing above, a standard agent service fee of around 5% applies to the order. The product itself is not marked up. We confirm the complete all-in price on WhatsApp before you pay.
Step 5 — We buy and QC
The agent purchases the item, has it sent to the warehouse, and inspects it. We then send QC photos — clear shots of the actual item you'll receive. This is your one chance to inspect before it leaves China, so look carefully: logo shape, stitching, colour accuracy, size tag, finishing. If anything's wrong, we go back to the seller before shipping.
Step 6 — Approve and ship
Once you approve the QC photos, we calculate final shipping (consolidating multiple items into one parcel for the best rate), you pay the shipping, and we dispatch via DHL, UPS or FedEx with door-to-door tracking. Most parcels reach the US, UK and EU in roughly 6 to 12 days.
The golden rule: never pay a seller directly
Customs, by country
| Country | What to expect |
|---|---|
| USA | Personal imports under the de minimis threshold generally clear duty-free. |
| UK | Over £135 may incur VAT; we split parcels to optimize. |
| EU | Over €150 may incur VAT; splitting recommended. |
| Australia / Canada | Thresholds apply (around AUD 1,000 / CAD 150); we declare appropriately. |
Why you can't just buy direct from China yourself
It's worth understanding why the agent step exists at all, because it explains the whole workflow. The Chinese platforms where these items actually live — Taobao, Weidian, 1688 — are built for domestic buyers. They're entirely in Chinese, they require a Chinese payment method like Alipay or WeChat Pay tied to a local bank, and they ship only to addresses inside China. Even if you machine-translate your way through checkout, you can't pay and you can't get it shipped abroad. Yupoo sits on top of this as the factories' public photo catalog, but it inherits the same limitation: it shows the goods without solving payment or international shipping. The agent is the bridge across all three gaps at once — language, payment, and forwarding — which is why every successful order runs through one. There's no workaround that skips the agent; there's only choosing a good one.
First-order tips
- Start small. A single Dunk or Air Force 1 is a low-risk first order to learn the flow.
- Ask before buying. We'll tell you honestly which batch a model needs — no upsell.
- Consolidate. Three or more items ship free in one parcel.
- Read QC carefully. It's your only inspection. Don't approve anything you're unsure about.
That's the whole process. Found something already? Send us the link on WhatsApp and we'll take it from there.
